The Sony HXCU-100K is the Camera Control Unit (CCU) for the HXC-100 studio broadcast camera. Utilizing digital triax technology, this CCU supports high resolution image transfer between it and the camera regardless of the connecting cable length. Furthermore, when this CCU's existing front panel is replaced with the HKCU-FP1 CCU Front Control Panel, full remote camera control is possible, including the manipulation of white balance and shutter speeds through a multitude of dials and knobs on the panel.

Supports Long Cable Runs
Using the latest in digital triax transmission technology, this unit supports cable runs up to 3937' (1200 m) when using 14.5mm diameter cable between the CCU and the camera. The actual maximum cable length depends on a number of factors including the camera lens type and the number of other cable connections in place.
